The David Chase odyssey began with travels to Southeast Asia in 1989.  This experience marked the beginning of David’s lifelong interest in other cultures, anthropology, tribal-art and textiles.  The early fascinations of those interests have metamorphosed into what is today the David Chase showroom, offering 12,000 square feet of extraordinary rugs, distinctive furniture, and unique tribal art and architectural pieces.  Established in Steamboat Springs for 13 years, this remarkable collection has grown from its simple origins.  

With a discerning eye, David Chase continues to personally hand-select only the finest handmade area rugs; each comprised of the highest quality hand-spun wools and pigmented with vegetal dyes.  These rugs, exhibiting a kaleidoscope of glorious color and texture that only the roots of nature can
