This month, David Chase Rugs & Furniture presents a cross-cultural exhibition featuring hand-knotted carpets designed by Teddy Sumner of Michaelian and Kohlberg and recent works on canvas by contemporary artists Susan Schiesser, Christopher Oar, and Pat Walsh. Also on exhibit are the expressionistic ceramics of Jan Maret Willman, including wall tiles, sculpture, and vessels. Jan will join us for the evening and is offering an “Opening Night” discount on her work. Explore the juxtaposition of modern artistic expression against the traditional motifs, textures, and colors of textile art. Enjoy a glass of champagne, while you tour the exhibit from 5 to 8 PM.
